Hanson Brick Announces Max Size Conversion in Quebec

October 10, 2007

Hanson Brick has announced the expansion of the Max size to seven brick styles manufactured at its La Prairie, Que., plant, offering customers more size options.

"As a result of market demands, we are converting seven brick styles from our La Prairie plant to the Max size," said Frank Buck, vice president of regional sales for Hanson Brick's North Region. "Offering these styles in the larger Max size reduces the overall wall cost for builders looking for an economical choice in brick cladding."

The six styles currently converted to Max size are Sahara, Boston, Flamenco II, Belize, Champlain, and Louisiane. A new product, Montcalm, scheduled for production later this year will be produced in Max as well. Additional styles will be added to Max size according to market demands.

Hanson Brick is North America's largest brick manufacturer, with approximately 1,600 employees and operations across the United States and Canada. The company provides its customers with superior selection and service, offering more than 1,000 styles of brick in five regional brick collections. Hanson Brick is based in Charlotte, N.C.
