Hanson Brick & Tile names veteran sales executive as vice president of national accounts

- David Del Brocco tapped to oversee integration of product sales across the Hanson family of companies in North America
Hanson Brick & Tile, North America?s largest brick manufacturer and a leading producer of concrete roof tile, announced today the creation of a new executive team position, vice president of national accounts, which will unite sales initiatives for the brick, roof tile, pipe and precast and paver divisions. David Del Brocco, who was named to the position, will oversee the coordination of simple, streamlined customer solutions involving these complementary Hanson products.
"Customers are operating in a complex and demanding environment and we want to be a single source of quality building materials that fit a variety of needs," said Bob Christensen, president of Hanson Brick & Tile. "David's sales experience and ability to think strategically make him a perfect fit for this position."
Del Brocco has been with Hanson since 2006, serving as vice president of sales in the roof tile division. He has more than 20 years experience in sales, marketing and business development.
"I couldn't be more excited to be in a position to harness all of the strengths of the Hanson brand in North America," said Del Brocco, who will remain based in Deerfield Beach, Fla. "Customers want to leverage their business and Hanson can bring business solutions that are flexible and include a wide breadth of products and experience on a nationwide basis.

In addition to reaching out to large regional and national building, development and construction companies, Del Brocco will work with the Hanson sales force so it has the tools to reach across divisions to find customer solutions.
"This is about expanding relationships," he said. "Hanson is taking a broader perspective because businesses want to deal with fewer suppliers and to be able to do that nationally."
Del Brocco starts his work as vice president of national accounts immediately.
