Hanson Brick boosts customer service in Columbia, S.C., market with
the addition of a field service representative

CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 10, 2007

Hanson Brick, the largest brick manufacturer in North America, has hired Paul Elder as a field service representative in Columbia.

“Our objective is to provide our customers with top-level service,” said Hugh McLaurin IV, Columbia market manager for Hanson Brick. “Paul will focus his attention on customers who come to our Columbia showroom and provide value-added services such as last-minute jobsite deliveries and custom home physical take-offs.”

Elder, a Clemson University graduate, will be based in Hanson’s Columbia showroom, 5100 Brickyard Road.

In addition to his showroom service, Elder will conduct outreach to area builders and help customers find brick matches for older home renovations.
